Cross Country and Track & Field Head Coach Will Rodgers


Will is a graduate from the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he earned a BS in Biology with an Exercise Physiology cognate. He competed for both the Cross Country and Track teams and was a five-time qualifier to the NCAA Division II National Championships including XC, the outdoor 1500m, and the indoor mile.


During his coaching career, Will has helped over 200 athletes reach personal best times in distances ranging from the 800-meter dash to ultra-marathons. To date, he has helped over 50+ runners qualify for the Boston Marathon and has been featured in running magazines such as Runner's World. Will also coached high school cross-country teams to state championship berths as well as several high school runners to individual state titles.

Rachel Lowery is a teacher at Madison Academy.  She currently teaches 8th Grade Pre-Algebra and 9th Grade World History.  This is her fourth year at Madison Academy.  She participated in track and field in middle school and high school.  This is Rachel's fifth year coaching track.  She is a Level 1 USATF Certified Coach.  Last year, Rachel coached a thrower to an Indoor State Championship in the shot put.
